Its amazing how woman lie to flake

The "one strike rule" is bogus. Granted, it sucks when a chick flakes on you and gives you what you THINK may be an excuse... but you typically want to give a girl a minimum of TWO strikes. Her doing it once could just be a coincidence; her doing it twice makes it a PATTERN. In the game of dating you want to look for patterns of behavior to better read her interest level, and her flaking ONE time doesn't allow you to really do that. I've had chicks flake on me for first dates before for legit reasons, and we were able to set up a 2nd date where she showed up. So... don't take a one-time flake as a reason to suddenly go NC on her.

With that, though, I will say this: a girl that genuinely wants to see you but has to flake out will usually respond back with a counter-offer: "Oh, sorry, I can't make our date tonight, I have a funeral to go to... but I'll be free this Sunday at 7 if that works for you?" Yes, even a girl that's grieving will try to make alternative plans with you if she likes you - so, if she didn't counter-offer, you may want to worry a bit, lol
