Thats all that there is to game really. Its just maths and statistics. Eventually even the biggest loser will get lucky now and again. It dont matter how lame your game is (within reason) as long as one is prepared to approach and keep approaching he will get his.
It all sounds very simple and it is. Having said that there is another important characteristic that one needs to have : thick skin. If you wanna get good or even lucky now and again you gotta be able to have amnesia in a way. You gotta be able to brush away even the nastiest rejections and keep moving forward.
