"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hi, D4rk here, i have been browsing the HS forums, and found that a lot of questions have to do with "is this AFC or DJ?" well, i recently have been reading the Book of Shuma Gora and i realized what is happening...see for yourself:

Orginally taken from the Book Of Shuma Gora:

It has long since been debated about whether or not an action is AFC, and if it is, whether or not it will interfere with your path to Don Juan nirvana.

Now, some actions are obviously AFC and should be avoided:

-calling several times a day
-bringing flowers to the first date
-being clingy and desperate
-having "one-itis"
-etc.

Now, what I'm trying to get across is the fact that although certain actions are AFC, you should not be too concerned if an action is AFC or not. The problem that many newbies have is that they see the AFC dillemma in only black or white. They place each action into each category, and make much dileberation of the whole affair. Given how many actions one can do, it gets ridiculous to categorize everything.

Rather, what I've figured out is DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! As long as you are doing the right things, you cannot come across as AFC.

These Right things are known as

1. Confidence

2. Challenge

3. Attitude

I call these three attributes the three pillars of Don Juan, for it is this three that holds up the rest. Without these three pillars, the rest of the system would come crashing down on you because these thre attributes are what makes it all happen.

As long as you remain confident, be a challenge, and have ther right attitude, nothing will be able to stop you. A True Don Juan does not worry if a smal linsignifigant action is AFC, he instead considers the big things. The little "AFC-or-not?" things do not hold up the Don Juan philosophy, it is the three pillars that do.

So I must ask you to consider, my friend, what is it that suports your game? Are you one of those who worry about whethewr or not everything is AFC? If so, you must add some pillars quickly, or your whole game will collapse out from under you. Or are you like me, your game being solidly supported by three gleaming tall pillars of Confidence, Challenge, and Attitude?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Good tip..

I've been told plenty of times I have attitude, and several times that I'm very confident, never been told I'm challenging though.. That is something I need to somehow work on.

An excellent post.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yeah, I definitely agree. I've been saying this for a while now. The people that say "Ah no man, don't do that, that's AFC behavior" piss me off.

Some people do use "AFC" too much. Good post Sly. "The 3 pillars of DJ", good stuff.

I agree with the statement that AFC is overused. Just because you aren't a fully fledged DJ, it doesn't make you an AFC automatically.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
