Is this a scam?

I'm corresponding with a girl I met on a dating website, but I'm a little bit suspicious about whether she is genuine. She looks attractive, but not unrealistically so, and she claims to be living in Arizona and planning to move to my city soon but a few things have raised my suspicions:

- Ungrammatical and disjointed English (a bit like the comedy character Borat) despite her claims to be a RN. Sometimes she says things that don't make any sense, for instance asking me for a picture when I sent one in my previous email.
- Despite the fact that she's given me her first and last names and town I can't find her on the Arizona RN database
- Very short replies to my questions.
- Currently lives in Arizona and claims that she is planning to move to my town in New England.
- Wants to get me chatting to her through Yahoo chat rather than email.

Am I just being a little bit paranoid?

I'm not naive - otherwise I wouldn't have posted here. Given that most people seem to agree that it is a scam I obviously won't be contacting her again. Anyway, I've had quite a few replies to my internet ad, some of whom seem to be genuine (and one works at a local bank).

Yo ease up grasshopper........theres a ton of men on here discovering the internet dating game. The reply was generic to all men just jumping on to the net thinking they got game.

I have said it a 100 X so I will repeat it again........NET DATING IS THE LOWEST FORM OF A PICKUP ARTIST ARSENAL. No need to go into the reasons why that is....it just is. IT SHOULD ONLY BE USED AS A LAST RESORT OR A STARTING PLACE.........thats it. If you rely on it as your primary source then might as well become an expert an really make it work for you.

IF I came across as rude its just that I see questions similar to this over and over.......people come on here read a few tips than RARELY adopt the advice FROM EXPERIENCED PU ARTISTS.
