"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Ok so Im hanging out with this girl for the first time, were sitting on the couch watching a movie. I can tell she feeling as she is leaning towards me, letting touch her, her knee was touching mine she didnt move it, showing me all her body tats, letting me touch her face (I was teasing her cheeks lol), and she playing with her hair alot. Anyway so she tells me shes cold so I jokingly say something like "I can keep your warm (laughing while say this), so I try to put my arms around like in a hugging fashion, she jerks away from real quick and says she not yet im not the touchy feely type with a huge smile and she was blushing and stuttering while she said this to me. Lol I asked her if she was blushing and she says "maybe with smile". then later slowly did the "put your arm around her shoulders move" and she didn't move and actually rested her head on my arm. When I was about leave I get up and before I can walk out the door she says something like "your just gonna up and leave like that" then she comes to the door gives me a long hug and says "it was nice hanging out with you for the first time"

I'm confused about why she would jerk away from me like that though. How should I read into this?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

anti slut defense... I'm not a slut, see, I am resisting. If anything happens tonight it's not my fault.

also to see how you would react.

LOL! Pulling her head away from his kawk would be ASD.

She was simply flirting with you and wanted to see how you would react as Juicy correctly said in the 2nd part of his post.

If you get rattled, she loses attraction; if you tease her, smile and then do it anyways, she gets more attracted and horny for you.

Stop paying attention to a woman's words and watch her actions/re-actions if you want to know how to proceed.

Never apologize for being a man and going for what you want.

These "super cool chicks with tattoos" have this thing sometimes that when they hear a canned cheezy line like "I can keep you warm" it just flips them out for some reason. You can't say stuff like that to them...

yeah they are a different breed for sure.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
