"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

Is constantly thinking and re evaluating/ analizing your "game" actually may be detrimental because you're just thinking too much and not doing it naturally?

I guess you could always learn and improve/ practice so that it can become second nature. But sometimes I get too deep into thoughts about it, which results in analizing while I'm "trying to pick up a chick".

I'm actually working on changing my frame of mind from "trying to pick up a chick" to just meeting and making a new friend (with some flirting and such).

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Analyzing your game is a good thing... But, you don't want to do it too much... Try to put yourself in situations where your putting your game on instead of thinking about it too much.
