Re-read the section where I mentioned these services burning a crater in a man's savings. I wouldn't call any habit/compulsions that results in damned near going broke a gainful endeavor

Fair point on the analogy — escorts are obviously a different dynamic than normal dating.


My point wasn’t that it takes “skill” in the same way as attracting women organically. It’s more that even in that environment, there’s still some level of screening, interaction, and selection going on — it’s not completely frictionless.


That said, I agree it’s on the easier end of the spectrum compared to normal dating. The bigger takeaway from Baron’s post, which I think is more important, is that ease doesn’t equal value. Something can be easy to access and still be a net negative if it leads to dependency or drains your resources.


You see a similar pattern in other areas too — short-term access vs long-term cost.

That's interesting analogy. I'm sure you have experience gaming all different types of women as your reputation preceeds you.
Some women are easier to game, others are more difficult. So, I guess escorts probably would be in the more easier side with you.

BTW, I'm comfortable going to a grocery store. I'm 100% not comfortable going into a brothel or calling an escort.
