"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I've noticed in high school that people are pretty tight-knit, and dating and relationships usually happen between friends of friends etc.

Simply approaching a random teenager at a mall or something freaked me out (I froze up), but before I go at it again (hopefully with a little more balls than before), doesn't it creep them out too?

Does the whole cold approach or even the subtle hints work on someone with highschool intellect (meaning not a lot at all)?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

It depends on the way you approach.

If you approach and seem nervous/freaky then they probably will freak out. But if you approach and your confident then they're going to enjoy being approached by you. You shouldn't be worried about whether they're freaked out or not anyway.

Personally, i don't approach random chicks on the street. The way i figure it, would i want to be stopped and talked to? answer: no.

Therefore i changed my game, Shop assistants, waitresses women giving out flyers became my targets. i found them easier to approach as, initially, that is what they are paid for. Then i take it from their and end up with #'s.

As for your question, i feel that highschool girls are attracted by looks (more so that regular girls) and having good intelligence matters **** all.

Mat, don't worry about it too much. The best thing to do is to wait for a good situation to present itself (don't be too picky though). If you and some girl are in the same place and neither of you are really preoccupied with something else, it's all good.

And Johnny, it's a lot harder to read people when they're paid to be friendly. I'm sure you know that though :).

This is true, but your aim is to build up independent social proof outside of your clique in school. It might creep them out a little, but it will also (whatever they say, unless they are super arrogant) make them feel good about themselves. This is because it makes them feel wanted and all girls want to be wanted (i asked one girl out and she said no, but please dont stop loving me because it makes me feel nice, what the hell?). Which is why the opinions of others matter a hell of a lot to girls, which is why social proof becomes important in school.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
