"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

just cut the cord with a crazy FB, and I like this freedom.

I've had some decent dates lately, and a fair amount of success this year...but I feel like sharpening the saw for a couple of months, recharging, and retreating into my own hobbies and workouts before I start dating again.

Is that ever OK? I don't want to "lose my touch", but the idea of not having girls define me for 2-3 months appeals to me.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

It's fine, even beneficial.

As Paradox and a few others have noted, "plates" don't have to be women. Hobbies, career, fitness, etc. can be plates you spin.

I don't think any guy should chase puss constantly unless you are some "professional pickup artist."

I think it's a welcomed change. You don't need to constantly be skirt chasing to be happy.

this is an odd reason why. I'm not going all ElStud and saying "I'm done with girls", I'm just looking to take a time out for a while.

(I say 2-3 months, but it'll probably end up being a month...haha...it's getting warmer out.)

Yup, I'm at my best (pickup-wise) when I'm horniest, and I just haven't been that turned on lately. Goes in cycles. I hooked up with several chicks in 2 weeks back in January and then nothing since. Just haven't been interested enough to try.

It comes and it goes. It used to bother me when I went a couple of months without a new girl, but now I know it'll come back so I enjoy my downtime.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I've experienced it; taking time off is just a buffer for Frustration. At one point I had a 5 flake streak. Embrace the highs and endure the lows. You will bounce back, but you won't do it by backing out of the Game.

why wouldn't it be ok? in fact you should do it!! you should be living your life for yourself....not women...you don't lose your touch if you know what you're doing.

there's always more to life than just women!!

you always need a break from everything in life!! take this time to have fun and better yourself!!

you will feel like a new man....already to go!!

good luck!
