"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I say once you can afford to live on your OWN, then move out. Too many people want to grow up fast. They end up scraping by because they can't handle financial responsibility. HDTVs, home theater setups, car audio, rims, whatever before the utility bills.

Or they're in such a hurry to move out that they end up living one block from the ghetto because it's all they can afford. There's nothing wrong with living at home, until you ready to move out. Just make sure the options you have infront of you are good options.
That is some good advice. Here is one situation you guys haven't considered. It is not so easy for everyone because some grew up where rent is more expensive. Moving out is not the same for a guy from california compared to someone from like 40 other states in America. For example a guy from Arkansas he could probably move out of his parents house and move somewhere in that same city and afford the rent and other bills by himself because rent is cheap there. A guy from california and other places can't do the same. He will have to live with strangers and even that way it will be expensive. Many times he won't have the luxury of being able to afford living in the same city he grew up in, the place he knows. That right there is a big problem. If moving out was hard then moving out to a city you don't even know with no connections is even harder. It is even harder if you live in expensive states like cali, new york and others and plan on moving to a new state where a lone guy can afford to live on his own with a regular job.

Maybe some of you grew up in the suburbs and your family is well off. Maybe they will give you a couple of gs for your savings to help you out. Some guys come from poor families, their families can't help them out infact they help their families out, and they got no savings. Now imagine how hard it is for that guy to move on his own, now combine it with him having to move to a new city or a new state. The combinations are endless.

Im just saying how there are so many little factors, so many combinations and situations, this is not just "get some balls and move out" like some of you make it out to be. Rent these days is insane and it might not be the most fun but living with your parents for a couple of years after high school is the smartest choice. In a time when everything is so expensive having a few years to save money before you move on your own is the smartest choice.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Economics 101: Rent is expensive in places where there is a greater need and where the earning potential could sustain the cost. And this doesn't mean that you have to rely on substantial housing. It has always been this way and it always will be. The difference is that in years past people started preparing to leave home a lot earlier than people do nowadays. Possibly because they felt more responsibility to pull their own weight.
