"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

So is worth dating a girl you dont like for the sake of experience? I have little to no experience when it comes to kissing and sex(Im a virgin) and it makes me very self conscious whenever I date a girl, and there is this girl that told me that she would teach me only if we become a couple. I do not like her, and she knows that but I wonder if should I give her a chance while I gain experience from her?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Yes, but realize somebody's gonna get hurt real bad here.

There's probably no bigger regret men have romantically than not taking the chances or risks they had growing up.

If you submit to her condition you are totally in her frame. You won't be leading her, she will be leading you. If you don't like her enough for a longer term than nonattached casual dating, let her go.
Btw - Sounds like she's trying to nail you down without a bang yet and that's somewhat scary. Consider that she may already be knocked up.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I don't see the point, although if such an uninteresting woman were to be the aggressor and the vibe is that you are not looking to close off opportunities with other women, then it would be OK - just don't poke it in as she will most assured try to tie you down for 18-3/4 years (I know a guy that took this stance and hit it, and now he's a daddy to kids from a fat mom).

Experience trumps knowledge any day of the week. Go for it, just don't get lost if you know it's a short term thing already

When I was a Virgin, I pretended that I had sex multiple times already. Never tell a female you are a Virgin because that means literally no female wants you.

So yes, use her like she wants to be used. Only on your terms though. It seems like you are very gullible to the whims of women, no offense

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I've done this years ago for similar reasons. Yes, I'd recommend it. Its really not a big deal. Its not much different than meeting somebody, having sechs on the 2nd date and 5wks later somebody says this isn't what I want.

A man with experience will never be at the mercy of a man with a theory. Go for it. Just don't drag it out when she questions your authenticity.

Just be sure to have one bag for her head, and one bag for your head, in case her bag falls off. :D

Never date women you don't like. Ever. It's mean to them and doesn't say good things about you. A successful man can have any woman, so obviously he will choose one he likes.

The problem is he's NOT successful.

You cannot successfully own a restaurant if you've never worked a day in your life. A person working at McDonalds has a better chance of owning a successful restaurant.

To the OP: Yes, date women you don't like. That's how I started out, and even though I broke some hearts, I regret none of it.

There is no reason to care for a female beyond having your needs met. Love is conditional. Once she no longer meets your needs there is no reason to talk to her in most cases.

Being mean to women shouldn't be your concern. Your concern should be getting your needs met which is what op appears to be leaning towards.

You appear to have a lot of empathy and are probably a genuinely caring guy. That's a problem when dealing with women. It appears weak to them.

I see what you're saying though about a successful man choosing a female he likes, but op is still trying to get some practice.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You actually told a girl you have little or no experience? Brutal if true.

Men, don't tell women your weaknesses. They will use it against you when most beneficial for them and most painful for you.

It is good to get on the score sheet, so to speak, but do understand that you will treat women you like differently to those you're not to fussed with, at least to start with.

The idea is to get to a stage where you treat them all the same every time, but something to bear in mind.

Friends with benefits would be better in this situation. Morally its not a good thing to lie to someone i.e get in a rs with them knowing you will dump them if something better comes up.

So based on most people opinions, I should take this opportunity to gain experience. I actually told her that we could be good friends or help each other out instead of a couple, but she keeps insisting that she will only teach me if we are couple because she is afraid that she will fall in love. That is why I am hesitant on whether I should lie to her or not, I do not want to hurt her, but I want to gain experience so badly.

She is above average on look maybe like a 6 out of 10, what turns me off is her needy/dependent personality. What I find most attractive on a women is someone who is independent.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
