Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I don't think I am alone in thinking the DJ Bible needs a big update or even a complete rehash.

For a start, it is way too big and longwinded, with epic novels (often with sequals and multiple parts) where a few paragraphs would suffice. When given the choice of posting a simple question in the forum or browsing through pages and pages of these inflated articles, it's no wonder that so many newbies are filling the forums with AFC questions.

I also believe a lot of the information in the Bible has been expanded on, advanced, condensed and explained a whole lot better since the original articles were written. In some cases, one post from the tips section could sufficiently replace 10 articles from the Bible.

What's more, I really feel there are too many contradictions. One writer will say "use every day to pursue women" and another will say "work on your life and let women pursue you", as one example. Perhaps it would help to actually acknowledge the different paths to "DJism" in the introduction (such as Fender's post: http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=81569)

Anyway, those are a few of my opinions. Let's hear everyone elses...

“The 22 Rules That Turned Me From Invisible to Irresistible With Women… Starting Tonight”

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.

Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.

These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.

good point. i agree. first fix yourself, then get women...otherwise you may end up like Black_Italian

more posts from Pook on being a man and getting your life in check. because actually when you do have most of these things down, you'll be attracting some women by default. then you can add to that and try to get hotter women.

I dont see a problem in having a new testament for the dj bible.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'd like to see more content aimed at developing yourself as a man too. I'd agree on more Pook posts if it wasn't for his long-winded and patronising writing style that takes forever to get the point across. As much as I respect what he says, I feel the Bible should be a lot more concise and to the point if it's going to be a reference guide for newbies.

As for Blackjackal's idea for a new testament...sounds like great idea to me!

I think it should also be collaborated into 1 file. It takes you 3 days just to navigate through all the pages. It wouldn't take long for each of us to cut & paste a section into one document.

It would be much easier to read, if we could print it out or look at it as one PDF or word file.

Yes I agree with you. I noticed a slight change in his style, but it's still prolix. You don't need to write a lot to get to the point. You can communicate effectively by writing less.

At least have it searchable or organized better. It's difficult to pinpoint the advice I need without reading the entire posts.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

New bible.

It's totally lose sight of what it's trying to achieve if you ask me.

Obviously everyone so far agrees that it needs some work. Instead of all sitting here agreeing w/ each other that it needs improvements, lets try come up with a strategy on how about to do that.

I know that this will create enormous debates, on where to improve, what to leave, etc.....

Anyone have any ideas on how to go about it?

It doesn't need a complete rehash, but it does need work. I think what we really need is a better FAQ.

no, it doesn't need to be completely torn down and redone. No knowledge should ever be disposed of because everyone has already learnt it. what about those new people who turn up and them wanna get into the game straight away. We should give them that opportunity, just like we would like the opportunity to leanr how to become a self-fulfilled man before we go after women. Give the the choice. The new testament of the DJ bible needs to be on the zen of being a man. That can quite easily be seperated from the old DJ bible, and posts from the old DJ bible dealing with this new topic may be moved if need be.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

It certainly needs to be updated a little but still......there are some CLASSIC posts (especially my latin boy fingers) that completely motived me and gave me the confidence and drive to believe I could/can better myself. I would hate tp see those works fade. For example I was doing my weekly reading of the bible and discovered (1 year later) post by Galactus called "fearless" that is so important to 100% of the AFC's on this board, go read it.

007 is right on the money......I think everyone should be writing thier OWN dj bible to have on them in paper so they don't revert back to the computer.......either take the effort to write all the stuff you know on your own time, or just print out all the posts that apply to you.

new testament should include posts about improving yourself in different areas such as education, health, life changing experiences etc

there should be more in the bible about long term relaionships.
this site is geared to attracking the women to you at first and how to start dating them, however it isnt really geared to help guys keep the women interested in them for long term (more than 6 months)

the bible just needs a refresh, like I saw in one of the other posts, we could possibly add a "new testement" of some sorts, and it could also use a search feature so we dont have to go digging through the bible to find a two line piece of advice

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
