so we went on a date with a girl but with my cuz'n as a spare wheel. now to me it was kind of a 'date' but it was more of a meeting to her. all the signs seem to be there but then i get the inside info that it was 'ok'. what does that mean? also this was kind of the first official meeting for over a year and a half. where do i stand now? a second official date was agreed upon...insight?

If you want a "date", ask her out...minus the cousin. Just the typical nice restaurant is great, and if things go well, ask her for coffee afterwards. If she's into it, she'll go. If not, she'll come up with an excuse to go home.
