"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I try to act like a DJ as often as I can, but I am still working on making my DJ skills a natural part of my personality. I do fairly well with girls when I really want to step my game up, but I get enough ass for my own satisfaction, and some nights at parties or whatever I just feel like chilling with the guys and not focusing so much on getting laid... this is OK right?

I know its OK, but I always get self consious when I am not hitting on a girl or talking to a girl, perhaps this is a good thing even.

But do you DJs out there ever just want to take a night off from the ladies and maybe just chill by yourself or with the guys instead of worrying about macking it?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

dude, I think you are missing an important part of being a DJ. A DJ, by definition, has his own best interests in mind above all else. Hanging out with the guys is a nobler way to spend your time than picking up women. Women are there to make your life more fun, not to be your life. If you feel like hanging out with the guys, then f*cking do it. Thats what being a DJ isall about: having the confidence to do whatever the f*ck you want.

god I hate that word; DJ (don juan) YES YOU SHOULD ALWAYS ACT LIKE A MAN might wana find out what that means first (I dont think you know)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Spider makes a damn good point.

Sure, maybe you will have a night where you dont #close every girl you see.

Doesnt mean you just FORGET the rest of it.
