"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Is it cruel to flirt with girls you have no intention of dating or getting with?

For example :
You see a girl, and you are bored (or you want to demonstrate value by showing other girls want you for a girl you really are into) so you start flirting with her, practicing your game. She responds very well and laughs and smiles a lot. You start flirting with her even more because of the response you are getting. You start to make her think that you might be into her. You compliment her a little and even go a little faster than you usually would - because you do not care what she thinks because you dont want her anyway. You are super confident because you do not care about the outcome. She responds to this confidence by liking you more. Now this girl is gonna go home and start thinking about you. Than when you see her again, you had some fun talking to her the first time so you do it again. She starts to like you even more now. Now this chick is really into you, probably thinking about you all the time, even though you knew from the very start that you had no intention of going out with this girl. She probably stops responding to other guys, other guys that actually do want her, because she thinks you are into her.

Is that not cruel?
This seems like the equivalent of a hot girl stringing guys along just to get attention, and us guys know how much we hate that.

I suppose one can argue that it is fair because both sexes are doing it to each other, but that is the two wrongs fallacy.

Dont get me wrong, I am not saying do not do this, as I do it all the time and probably wont stop because its so fun and allows me to practice and say things I probably wouldnt say to a girl I really liked. It allows me to say risky things, and if it works than I know I could use it with a girl I actually do want. Im just saying, it seems pretty cruel to me lol.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I don't think it's cruel but I also find it difficult to naturally flirt if I'm not attracted.

It's simply just not as fun so I don't really bother doing it all that often.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
