Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
I don't know completely about trashy women but possibly insecure women who feel that they have put a lot into the relationship and that they cannot do any better. Then there are women (and men) who are married who stay together for the sake of the children. This makes sense if they can stay civil but it so detrimental to the little ones if they ******dly display their disdain for one another.ducaro said:trash will stay, quality will leave.
WTF? Why was "0utwardly" suppressed? Eh... Gotta love technology...Francisco d'Anconia said:I don't know completely about trashy women but possibly insecure women who feel that they have put a lot into the relationship and that they cannot do any better. I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
While I agree thats probably the #1 reason in most cases, a lot of girls are far too deep into their comfort zone for that very reason. And perhaps some guys too...Francisco d'Anconia said:I don't know completely about trashy women but possibly insecure women who feel that they have put a lot into the relationship and that they cannot do any better.
Dude, that's scary! :nervous:solo1 said:...Goes to show that a lot of people are in relationships because they settle for the person.
It's too common if you ask me. And it works both ways.solo1 said:Personally, I've never done this to a girl. but I hear this from other people in relationships and seemingly it appears common for the girl to stay in the relationship after being cheated on.
This is mostly the case. Most people dont know how to count their losses and just let go. Fighting the inevitable, the relationship will eventually collapse. But I do believe women are more common for doing this than men, respectively.Francisco d'Anconia said:I don't know completely about trashy women but possibly insecure women who feel that they have put a lot into the relationship and that they cannot do any better. You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
