"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hi, I am new to theses forums but I'm certainly enjoying it and my life is getting better with time as I become more and more successful with women (I'm not really successful yet, but I am definitly improving very fast).

There's a skill I lack though, it is what I like to call it the "Introduction conversation". It is the FIRST COUPLE OF WORDS that you tell to the girl. I can have a very nice conversation with a lady if we have something to talk about that is interesting, but when I meet a girl for the first time, I really have a hard time knowing what to say, besides "Hey, how are you? ", "I'm great!" blalbalblababla.

I most of the time ask casual and boring questions like "what school do you go to?", "how old are you?" "what are you studying in?". Thoses questions seems really boring to me and they make the women seem really bored, and who likes to talk about school?

And this is one of the part I hate the most, they seem to often give me that "Why does he asks me so many questions?" face, which makes me lose all motivation to continue talking.

I'm pretty good to communicate with a girl if there's something to talk about. (i.e.Talking about a movie if you're at the movie theater, or talking about music if you're at a show). But I mean, maybe I'm wrong, but you don't just plain talk about sex to a girl when you JUST MEET HER.

In a big summary, I don't know how to give a first good impression, like once you have good chemistry it's very easy, but I just don't know from where to START, the FIRST WORDS. It is the hardest part for me. I hate asking boring questions just to talk. My conversation skills needs a boost at the beginning. I'm aware that there's no 'MAGIC QUESTION' that will make ladies all over me, but I'm sure there's many ways you guys learned with experience on how to start a convo properly.

I'd love to hear some things from experienced guys on what to say, or what to do, or on what to NOT do or DON'T say.

I hope I learn some more from the bests. Thank you.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

My Journal

Check out my journal. I'm doing my best to explain what opening lines I used. The problem is that there is no secret - every situation is different. But there's something to be said for developing a sense of fun, and your own sense of humor. Practice asking ridiculous questions (mine is "you ever dream of being a pilot?) I'm hoping that other rAFCs can take some lessons from my mistakes and successes (even if I have more of the former) in the Journal. I hope I have helped.

Thanks a lot, can you post the full link though? Because that link doesn't work. (You can see it's not the full link because of the "..." in the middle)

Thank you.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Masonx,

Bootcamp week 3 covers convo.

Look, small talk is useful and necessary. There is nothing wrong with it. Consider it a bridge to common interests and learning more about her. Also, it's impossible to be constantly brilliant, throwing off the bon mots.

Here's the key: be observant of your surroundings and of her. Ask her questions about herself. School, work and origin are good openers. Respond in kind without trying to best her when you share common experience.

Get her emotionally involved in the convo. I pick up this broad on a plane once. As she approached I smiled. She sat down next to me. Natural subject: where to, fly much, nervous? Then the question that opened her up like a flower: Do you consider yourself to be spiritual?

Guess what? We shared a cab from the airport to my condo. About a month later I had reason to be in her city and stayed at her place.

Another airport pickup: Sitting in waiting area for plane to board. Superduper HB sits a couple seats away from me. Me: (Smile) "You going to New Orleans?" Her: yes.
Me: This is a great weekend for it. so-and-so is playing at the Funky Butt, so-and-so is at the Maple Leaf, so-and-so is at the Cafe Brasil, also....
Her: this is so great, you're just who I needed to meet.

Again, exchanged weekend at my place for a weekend at hers.

So, know what's going on; ask questions about what she feels.

You should have your own interests and scene before you meet her, so you have something of interest to talk about, and so you can have the prospective of bringing the woman into your world rather than you getting absorbed in hers. This is central to your power as a man.

Just remember, everyone's favorite topic of convo is themselves. Take a genuine interest and get her talking about herself. She will find you fascinating.

My REAL Journal link

This is my REAL journal link - sorry don't know what's been going on.

My Journal

And just a thought - the earlier you can talk about sex and make it hilarious, the better! The girl will know right away that you are looking for a date, and it demonstrates your confidence and your masculinity. AFCs (like me :- P) are always terrified of talking about sex with women (but I do it anyway). It always surprises me, but when you do it right, women LOVE it when guys joke about sex, even involving them if you do it in a funny way. Never quite understood why.
