Wubbman
Don Juan
Something interesting happened in speech class today. We are currently in the beginning stages of public speaking and are only giving 'introductory speeches' about ourselves (events in our lives, phobias we have, etc.).
Well, today this guy got up and gave his speech about the different stages of nervousness that guys experience when talking to girls, ie cracking, wavering voice, sweating, blushing, etc. Now, this class is primarily female. Counting me, there are two other guys in there. And when he started giving this speech a lot of the girls started oohhing and ahhing and such.
My question is: is this a viable tactic to get a girl's attention? When he first started talking I was thinking 'what an AFC.' But, some of the girls seemed to take it quite well. Is making a woman feel sorry for you effective? I can't imagine that it would be.
This guy looks a like a normal individual. He doesn't necessarily act needy or anything like that (from what I can tell). Thanks for any thoughts you guys might have.
