Is it just me seeing all these I'm new, what should I do threads or is there an influx of newbies to the board? If so, think it is a result of afc's reading "the game" and finding the site?

I'd say go read the DJ bible and get yourself fully acquainted to the runs of the game. Neil Strauss's book is great inspiration for the average guy, but it takes real action and commitment to become an mPUA. Go out and get some practical experience. It's the best thing that you can do for yourself.
