So I've joined a local gym and have a vague workout plan. I want to focus on my back and abs quite a bit as my legs have plenty of muscle. Overall goal is to lower bodyfat % from the current 20% to about 14%-12%.

Height 5'8"
Weight ~170
BF% - 20%

I want to reach my goal of 14% by January. Currently I have trouble eating regularly and well (I know how, my job just prevents me from inconvenient food. Plus, I can't prepare anything, certinly nothing that requires refrigeration.). Clif bars and the cousins Builder bars are my main sources of sustinance.

So what is your QUESTION? You seem to state what you are after, but not what you really need help with. Is it your training, AND your eating, just your eating, or what?

Are you asking HOW to eat better and what you can do?

You can check the Vault and though you aren't in high school or college (or maybe you are) read my post about that topic. It gives many options for HOW to eat in tougher situations.

Your diet will KILL YOU if you cant get it right. Living off clif bars and only bars and shakes wont cut it.
