Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

This has gotta be the easiest possible way of meeting a woman walking in the street:

Stop her and ask for directions to somewhere but deliberately ask for a place in the direction she's already walking, preferably a few minutes away.

There's a decent chance she'll be like 'yeh i'm going that way anyway, i'll show you', even if she doesn't and just starts giving directions on the spot, you can always ask if she's heading that way anyway so long as she seems fairly friendly and receptive. Then you've got 5-10 minutes to chat, which should be all you need if you're any sort of DJ.

This is so simple that i can't believe i've never seen it mentioned in any thread on openers or cold approaching or that i've only just thought of it myself, I'm definately gonna field test it though.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

welcome to my world
yeah, this is cool. even better, is if you are actually new to a place/area, but have been able to find a few places before hand, then you can still ask how to get there, because it is not a complete lie.

for example, a few weeks ago, for fall break, i made a trip to another school (where i'll be transferring soon most probably), and i had to go see some advisors and stuff about my credits. in the office, the girls who worked with the advisor were pretty cute (and so was the advisor, she was hot, and we flirted quite a bit). anyway, the advisor suggested that one of the girls show me to a certain part of the campus (and i said sure, even though i already knew where it was)...and i took advantage of that opportunity to just chat up the cute girl and get to know her as we walked.

the only problem i saw with this is, that if you do already know where the place is, etc, you have to sort of act a bit to be like, "whoa, this place is pretty cool." even though you've already been there once.

not sure if you get my drift, but i have field tested this a few times, and usually just did so out of whim.

anyway, try it, but imo, i'd say it would be better if you could get the girl to walk with you to where you're headed rather than try to go where she may be headed. because in the former situations, it makes me feel uncomfortable somewhat to feel like i have an "agenda." but that's just me.

good luck with this though, because it is a good way to get numbers from street approaches!

I'd like to add abit to this as its been my sneaky way of cold approaching for some time.

make the place your going something the girl could do as well and if the convos going well go for the insta-date.

Two examples: Asked for directions to starbucks (stupid fvcking idea!, twirl around 10 times and stop in any direction there will be a starbucks). We arrived there and i said 'come have a coffe' Ended up dating her for a few weeks.

example 2: this is my favorite, on university campus i find someone heading in the right direction in ask where the guild bar is. Only problem with my campus is its too logical, i get more directions than guides.

Its good to put a time-restraint on it too.

Good work boys! I just posted a cold approach very similar. The key is to start up a bullsh*t convo so when you go for her number it won't look awkward. Asking for directions works great too.
