Lot of debate about money and it's importance around here. The truth is it matters but is not the be all and end all. If you're a 4 with an average income you're only a 6 with a good upper middle class salary.

It is significant, yes, but it's one part of a complex system. I think in general on these forums it's valued far too much and used as an excuse not to self-improve.

Oh well, probably. I was talking more about the two points on the SMV scale than about money. If you can go up two points on the SMV scale, that's huge IMO. As you say, two points for some money is probably overvaluing it.

If you can increase your earnings potential though, I would call that self improving, unless you absolutely hate what you're doing. I've always seen earning more money as being more beneficial to yourself than about attracting women. I respect people who choose to live an ascetic lifestyle, but money is an extremely versatile tool that can be very, very useful.

Oh, absolutely. Anyone who claims they don't want more money is lying. The philanthropists who have the most impact have the most money, so even if you want to help people money is still the goal! Money lets you buy nice clothes, a nice car, a home. All these things increase your attraction immensely. But I'm looking at it from the other angle. Yes, it increases your value, but if you have no value to start with, money doesn't help. That's what the rich guys on this forum don't get. I look good, I have money, girls should fall in my lap! You still need to be a good man for the money to improve your SMV (with gold diggers being the exception). Money is a spice and if you're flavoring a turd, the customer is gonna be unimpressed.

Guys here used to (many still do) push the idea that being an @sshole was enough to get you women, so some might disagree that you have to be a good man. Also, I would say practically everybody has some sort of value.

I say good as an all round red pill man. You do need to be a bit of an ******* because you can't have a strong frame without upsetting people. But being firm about reasonable expectations and morality is fine. If you take that concept to the extreme you're just an *******. It's not something people should be proud of or aspire to be. It's the benevolent king vs the tyrant. Use your power for good.

It's all shades of grey, I did a post about how black and white thinking is likely to cause significant problems but it wasn't particularly popular.

But to get that two point boost, you have to increase your income by a factor of TEN.

A 75k guy has to somehow get himself up to 750k?

A 100k guy has to clear 1M per year.

That’s a bit ambitious.

Maybe it’s more cost effective to work out and gain one point?
