"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Does anyone else ever notice that there are tons of things in real life that conflict as well as agree with the ideas on So Suave? IE: Like hot chicks IRL actually dating dudes who aren't so-called DJ's or GQ.

I know a few chicks like that. And if you've actually opened your eyes you'll see tons of everyday dudes dating all types of chicks.

Now I do believe a lot of posters on So Suave provide excellent tips for a leg up (actually almost all post something at one time or another that can be useful to someone) but I also think a lot of us are way too deep into this "Alpha DJ" nonsense and some possibly driven boarderline insane over some things that you can simply improve yourselves on by not having to go over the same scenario over and over again or stuck in a closed loop about how life is so unfair to the "DJ".

Don't overthink this stuff nor women's or anyones actions/words. Learn from them, share your advice and keep growing without becoming a DJ nutjob over things you sometimes simply cannot control.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

There is such a thing as too much info at one point. One should just take what is applicable to his own life from here. What is good, is that we all share common problems and we acknowledge we need help in certain areas. People were reproducing way before all this alpha, PUA, DJ & seduction crap came to be.

Basically, did our dads know/use any of this sh!t? They were just themselves. Whether they were alpha, smooth, AFC, shy, hard a$$e$, we cannot truly say, but they did manage to reproduce (see mirror).

In a nutshell, take what you can from this forum, there is a lot of good advice. Key word: "advice".

'learning' is via action/experience, not reading

I absolutely agree that real life often bears no resemblence to advice given on SoSuave. Life, and people, are too varied and complex to fit into a theory. Bottom line, if you find something that sounds good, use it, otherwise I wouldn't take this stuff too seriously.

I think a lot of guys have success from PUA methods simply because they believe in it. It gives them confidence and they go out there and apply it. Which is what they needed in the first place - to get out there and try. The great thing about SoSuave is it tells you that if you get rejected, don't sweat it, go on to the next girl. No one girl is totally special or completely irreplaceable. It's hard to fail if you embrace that attitude.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

thats basically my take on this site as well, one of the dangers of this site is you can become engrossed in soo much theory that, despite being told not to overthink things...a bye product of all this theory is exactly that!
one of the biggets lessons Ive learned is how to deal with the 'rejection', seeing it for what is is, and beng able to move on. its also been good for knocking women off the pedestal.
Like NN stated though, RL often bears no resemblance to the theory on this site.
