I have many picture I want to upload, but (so far) for the places I've found, most have a limit around 1 MB. Unfortunately, I have pictures slightly about this limit, 1.15 MB to be exact.

Does anyone know a good photo hosting site?

Convert or compress the image to a lower resolution so you can upload it to any site.

Alright.... now here's the million-dollar-question....

How do I do that?

AFK Protector, photobucket has a limit of 250 KB per image.

Vincent, the limit is just a little too small. It says a max of 1024 KB per image.

diablo, no job, no money.... I'm pòhh....

diablo,
Do you know of any cheap host that only hosts pictures and has css/html capability?
I could do a WHO on your domain, but I'll just ask, where are you hosting it, and how much are you paying per year?

It seems all the hosts nowadays have all the stuff like cgi/php/mysql etc, I'll probably end up paying extra for something I may never use.

1 MB is too big for one picture. Get Photoshop, open the file, and then when you "save as" it will ask for the quality you want, or if it's big in dimentions, you should resize it.
Paintshop pro can do that also, I'm not sure about other programs.

MS Paint really really fvcks up the quality.

Yeah, but he may not have the money for those...

Yeah, that's true and why I would recommend a freeware program like the GIMP. The only thing with the GIMP is that it crashes waaayyyy too damn much for my liking.

Today happens to be release day for v2.2 hmmm....

It's illegal to download it using Ares, so I don't recommend downloading it and then searching for "photoshop".

I'm not talking about the programs you pick up off some of these "download" sites that come bundled with spyware/adware or that the developer asks for a donation.

Just a specific genre program that is worked on by a "cult" of developers and supporters and put out for public use.
