"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

When my g/f tells me she is to tired at 12:30 am to mess around after our date is over. she does have a good excuse she gets up at 6am to go to work. but its the weekend, still i feel turned down..am i being selfish?

how should i be reacting to this? i feel if she really wanted me she would have gotten over her being tired.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.

welcome to married life,..ehr,..wait, this is your girlfriend you say?

Let me explain something to you from a married man's perspective. I can be sleeping in the deepest depths of REM sleep and on the very off chance my wife were to come home from her shift at the hospital to wake me at 2am saying "honey, I'm horny, lets fukk?" rest assured, I would be awake, stiff, ready to go at a moments notice and rearing to hit it again right after the first time. When a person wants to fukk, they'll find a way to fukk, and sleep deprivation will be the smallest inconvenience they'd consider.

After 11 years of marriage I can honestly tell you that "i'm tired" means "I'm not into fukking you tonight" every time. It's like a LJBF for married people.

It's not necessarily anything to worry about. Sometimes people just aren't in the mood for sex (*gasp*).

However, if this was after a "date", then what the heck were you doing. She should've been all hornied up.
