"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She's my girlfreind of almost 3-4 months now. She's my first ltr and I love her. In a place/school where there are few nice, pretty girls I feel lucky to have her.

Now, if you ask ANYONE...or her she will say that she loves me and that she probably loves me more. I don't show my AFC'ness and call her a lot and act needy. In fact, it would seem to one that she's like the needy, AFC and i'm just OK with or w/out her.

I even had a talk w/ her last night. We spoke about how much we love eachother but still I came out and said that I can always get over her and get another girl, but I just didn't want that so we were fine.

Now, w/e she does..or says effects me so much. If she acts cold towards me which she doesn't really but everyone has there days, i feel very upset.

I'm a goodlooking, funny, outgoing guy but i feel so caught up with her and idk what i'd do if we were to end things. I just want to get my head stright so I don;t have to deal with the pain incase something DID happend.

I feel like a AFC in the inside, but more of a DJ on the outside.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

There's nothing wrong about loving a girl. The question is, is she the right one to be emotionally investing yourself in? On top of that, you can still isolate your emotions to where if she did leave, you wouldn't get depressed and feel empty. Basically, what I'm saying is she shouldn't become 100% of your life. Don't listen tot he guys here who are you going to call outo your oneitis... because if she's the right one, then it's not.

Hmm.... I've been getting that lately, me and my gf have been together for almost 9 months now.

It is the shock factor which is partly to blame for the upset, because basically she becomes someone that isn't sweet, caring and head over heels in love with you. The first subconscious reaction that your brain gives will be "She's not satisfied with me" and that's what gets you upset.

My advice would be to keep going and see if she gives you the cold shoulder again then do talk to her, make her feel that even when she's upset, she doesn't need to shut herself up and be anti-social.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Well, I'm a high school Junior. The only negitives about her is like her family life isn't great...and she'll do stupid things somtimes that hurt herself (not too serious, but not cool) However, since I've been with her she hasn't done it and has been happy and good. I do know she loves attention though and this is not something I love. Basically her bad (not great, not the worst though) family life, some bad past events (not TOO bad) and her need for attention (or so it seems) is her negitives. Other then that, it's all good. Perhaps she isn't someone that great to invest all this love into, but I'm not marrying her..were JUNIORS IN H.S. so i think i should just relax a little bit more..

You cannot "love her" or "be in love" after dating for such a short amount of time!!! I had a long conversation with another DJ from these boards yesterday and we discussing this very topic. Lots of guys who are in there first serious LTR confuse infatuation with love. There's a big difference!!!

Lastly the fact that you say she has:

-troubled family: HUGE RED FLAG
-has done thing to hurt herself in the past: ANOTHER HUGE FLAG
-is an attention w-hore: ANOTHER BIG BAD SIGN

Shows that she's not worth thinking about at all. Your young, have fun and keep it light, don't waste your high school years being hung up on what looks to be a psycho head case.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

I didn't know you're just a junior in HS. lol. you are NOT in love. you aren't old enough to know what it is and when you're in it. it's just hormones..... especially when you're both just teenagers.. every month of your life it's like you're a new different person..

First of all - it can be love. There are different varieties of love. I "loved" my first girlfriend after not very long too. We dated for 2 years and six years later I still think about her from time to time.

Second, just because she has a bad family life and has some self esteem issues should not be reason for you to high tail it to the next town. She is young and immature. She may very well grow out of it. Many of my friends grew up in broken or abusive homes and they are some of the most wonderful people I know. Lastly, I don't know why you would want to get rid of this feeling. The real trick is to keep yourself feeling that way and keep her feeling it too. If you are not feeling that infatuation/love/affection in the relationship then what is the point of even having one?

Enjoy your time with her and let her know you enjoy it but don't let it get away from you. Don't become needy or clingy but do be affectionate and loving. That is what will make your relationship grow.
