Don Juan
I seriously doubt anyone would even notice a problem. This isn't something to worry about.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

The dudes definitly got some balls for coming out like that though.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
dude....youve been bodybuilding for 4 years....GET OFF THE JUICE!!! thats whats causing it. why dont you just admit it??Originally posted by Balla_Baby_69
I have been bodybuilding for about 4 years now. I'm 18. I look good, but I have gyno in my chest. Bascially, it's breast tissue that makes it look like I have '***** tits.' I'm getting surgery to remove it (it's the only way to get rid of it. 50% of males develop it during puberty and for most people it goes away on its own and if it doesn't the only way to rid yourself of it is surgery. can't lose it by exercising or anything...).
Anyway, when I have on a shirt or a wife-beater you can't really notice it at all. And the rest of my body shows off my 4 years of work. Anyway, I'm really insecure bout my chest and haven't let anyone (except for one of my bestest friends) see me shirtless for the past 5 years, even my mom!
Anyway, I'm going to Six Flags this Monday with my girl. Just her and me. We've been dating for about 6 weeks. And she likes to swim so I'm guessing she's going to want to go into the waterpark, but she probably won't unless I do too. She knows a little bit about my chest and she said she thinks its kinda sexy that I admit it (whatever that means) and that she couldn't notice it (but she still ain't seen me shirtless)....
I was thinking that if I go swimming I could just wear a wife-beater and everything would be cool, but my friend said "you can't wear a wifebeater! only fat people wear wifebeaters to the pool!"
So, what should I do if swimming comes up at the park? Should I take my shirt off for the first time in public and possibly embarass myself? Or should I wear a wifebeater and possibly embarass myself. Or should I just refuse to go swimming?
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
So does body building at 14 years old.Originally posted by Balla_Baby_69
cus they stunt your growth
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
