"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

The first chick already had a date and then the second girl flat out didnt want to go with me. I'm so sick of girl's bull **** excuses. It pisses me off.

Today my friend tried to hook me up with a chick. As she was walking towards me, I was like **** she's ugly. We get introduced to each other then, after 30 seconds, she asks me to go the prom. I'm like "you know what, i'm waiting to hear back from this girl i asked yesterday. she said she'd call me today. so i'll let you know tomorrow." i just completely pulled that out of my ass so i wouldnt have to go with her. she's just not my type. now i got to lie to her so i don't have to go with her. i mean what else could i do in that situation?

There's 2 weeks left before prom and i'm completely desperate. After she left, i went up to three chicks in a group and asked them to go the prom. the first one said her parents won't let her, the second one just said sorry, and the third one just stared at me. so i'm pretty ****ed right now. i guess asking random girls isnt as easy as it sounds.

what would you guys do if you were me?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

who cares
well technically youre 0 for 5...just keep trying, dont look desperate tho...going up to a group of 3 girls and asking them to prom kinda seems a little desperate.

You can't just randomly ask girls to go to prom with you, prom is a little bit different than your high school dances, its important to the girl and they want to go with someone memorable. It's not very serious here but, I got my prom date by saying to a girl who I am sort of friends with, (during conversation about grad) "hey listen, you want to be my arm candy date for grad?" she laughed her ass off and said sure. You have to be clever, and you have to have known the girl for more than 10 seconds if you want a hope in hell.

Last minuet is a bad thing

If push comes to shove, ask a junior or underclassman (preferably one you already know). Not only is it less likely that they already have a date, but it circumvents the whole memorable date thing. But dont do this unless you have to (or really want to).

Dont give up, but dont be without a backup plan either.

Well sounds like someone is screwed........ Listen, you still have time to get to know a girl. Dont just walk up to the group and ask, instead ask a girl out, get to know her and then ask her to the prom. Good luck

I agree with dandrufman. YOu can always ask an underclassman. I suggest a junior though.

don't worry too much though, it doesn't matter that much. YOu can always ask your mom!:p

Yeah... you don't just walk up to girls and ask them to a prom. You look unbeleivably desperate in their eyes. And we know what a turn on that is for women.
