"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

2 weeks on and i,m feeling alot more confident about dumping this chick who i was seeing for 4 months... but these 4 months was very intense!!

Anyhow i am happy to move on and meet other chicks who are not rude and disrespectful like she was...

My only regret is... when i dumped her, i gave her some explanations of why it was over...

Told her, that her behaviour was out of order, told her that she kept escalating problems, rather than trying to resolve them.. and she blamed me for everything!

Finaly i told her, that she wasn't the right girl for me, whom i want a relationship with... and that it is over...

Now i feel like a fukin moron.. i wish i had just kept it simple and gave her as little information as possible, and told her it was over..

I guess i cant turn back the time now... the result is still the same, i ended it with her!!

I have 2 dates lined up, time to bang some new chicks...

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Don't feel you have to always follow the DJ path of just giving no explanation and disappearing. While that might make her hamster spin, all it really does for you is boost your ego. Sometimes giving an explanation serves to give you peace of mind. In the end the result is a break up, so don't feel you broke some DJ golden rule, you ended it your way and now it's over. I applaud your ability to identify disrespect and take desisive action, that is the hallmark of DJ more than anything.

I don't see nothing wrong with saying that. Why do you have regrets? You told her how it was and how you didn't like her behavior. Dumping her is what you did and you gave your reasons why. I don't see nothing wrong with being forceful making your words known. Being a fool would be to stay not telling her that and not dumping her.

It is good you ended it with her. Don't look back and have banging the new chicks.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
