No I doubt you're a pot somker...I think. I use to smoke pot and the same kinda thing happened to me until I finally kicked the habit.
Otherwise, like what everyone else is saying, just take some free time to yourself, that usually clears out your mind and helps you focus in on your studies.
I also found that even though it may appear you aren't memorizing the information you're studying, your mind is still absorbing the information without you being aware that that's whats going on. I studied for numerous exams and went in feeling I was very unprepared because even though I studied my arse off I didn't feel that I had really absorbed the information. Then when I sat down and actually started readin the questions, things started clicking in my mind and the information just poured out on my exams.

Yeah, I think it's possible to study yourself stupid. I've done that a few times myself. If you stare at your work long enough, it stops making sense. Step away from your studies for a while and come back to them later. In the meantime, do something relaxing, which will help clear your head.

i got the same thing going on................ I thought it was because i used to ware glasses, so i got the lasere surgery. 6 monthes lather, (litlebit better) but still can't concentrate
