"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I've been going to the tanning bed for the last two weeks. On two occasions there has been this really cute girl working there. She has shown the clearest signs of interest toward me that I have ever seen from a chick. I mean there was no doubt at all. I did fine in making eye contact and smiling but I couldn't do anything beyond that like say something to her or make any other kind of move. I really need to take some action before she starts thinking I'm not interested in her. This seems to be a sure thing if I could just handle the situation properly and do something. Any ideas on how I should go about this next time I see her?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hmmm, why do people get tans? Ahhhh, to look good.... Hmmmm, where do people who look good usually go? Better yet, where do they usually go together to show off their tans? Hmmmm... Maybe the two of you could show off your tans together!!!!

I'm not sure if asking her if she's interested in me or asking her if she wants to show off tans would work out to well.

You're right, you need to take action... The bottom line is that you have to be comfortable enough to be who you are and ask what you want, without fear. Ok, she obviously caught your eye... what else do you want to know about her? I'm sometimes hesitant or afraid of asking a questions, but If i don't talk to her I lose. Suprisingly, no matter how bad I think my question may be, it's NEVER been the case.

Anyway, like Francisco d'Anconia says, go to the beach! pool! whatever...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Here's a guy that gets it. Hell do anything, clubbing, whatever. You have something in common, use that as a topic when you approach. JUST STOP PUTTING IT OFF! :woo:
