I've been living in a hotel for about a month now. Today, I moved to an efficiency within the hotel. The only place where I could put my computer was in the room, but the cable internet wouldn't reach that far. So, all day, I've been trying to make it reach.

Finally, using a VCR, a TV, the modem box, the hard drive, and a splitter that I had while I was in the hotel room.... I have made the 15 extra feet that I needed to get the internet without having to pay the cable company extra to come out here and put another cord in (none the less the hell you have to go through to get permission). damn, im good.

Lol the signal will be noisyier because of all the different devices you ran it through. Better off going to an electronics store and buying a M/M coaxial extender and the length of cable you need. Really, it's only about 5 dollars for that stuff.
