Ignoring her/being distant.... now what?

Hey don juans,


So long story short... I felt as though interest levels were dropping with a girl I've been dating for about a month now. This is a Long-distance relationship. I decided to start ignoring her texts (she has "Read Receipts" turned on on iMessage) and replying once in awhile to some texts but being very brief and distant with my replies. She's called me out on it but I act like everything is normal.

It's been about 4 days now and I can tell it's starting to eat at her. She's been the one initiating the contact and I've been acting cold or ignoring.

My question is this, how long should I keep this up? and when should I start replying a little more normally?
