"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

recently i asked a co-worker out *bad idea* i know but she was too fine to let go and we have a lot of common, i flirt with her a lot

she ended up with reasons like "mom is coming to visit from other country" (which was true and told by her friends) & "working late shift" i didn't work that day so i asked other co-worker and she was right

after she rejected me and not even asking me for other time or anything... i didn't like that so 2 days later i got back to work, she greeted me and i just walked by and ignored her

guess what happen? (4 days later) she finally tries to get my attention, i mean she did the funniest thing in front of me, like she's a cashier and going through an item with no price sticker on it. but i found the sticker on side bottom...

WTF how can u miss that, i walked away laughing (not laughing WITH her) and later on she said "bye *my name*" i kept on walking even though i've also been ignoring her for the past few days

what should i do? keep ignoring or do that tight butt already?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Most would tell you not to ignore, and just act normal. But I say keep ignoring her, and if she ever asks you why you're ignoring her tell her...your mind is preoccupied because "your mom is coming in from another country....you've been working late a lot"...........:)

I'm not sure why you are ignoring her.

She didn't do anything disrespectful to you - all she did was tell you that she isn't interested.

Now you have drama at work.

It doesn't sound like the kind of job he'll be making a career out of so who cares about the drama?

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

If you carry on you are well on your way to looking a jackass and incurring the wrath of this chick (they can be b1tches when they want to).

You have no reason to ignore her, unless your "feelings" were hurt or you can't handle rejection. Both of those are bad qualities and will make you less attractive to chicks.

You don't need to be creating a difficult situation at work for her or you. Isn't that unfair, when she is just there to do her job? And it could lead to complaints against you or her telling other people about it.

Besdies, if she was surprised you asked her, maybe she actually would consider dating you now she has had time to think about it. Maybe not, but it's a possibility. Ignoring her and laughing at her isn't going to help your case. Plus, it's majorly immature and you come across as weak and insecure.

I think your reading too heavily into the second part of the story though thats just my observation. Work mistakes happen pretty often.
