That's quite the summary there - I can't believe that entire series isn't even in the bible, much less the dedicated section that it deserves. I barely come here anymore, but it's nice to have a fresh look at A-D's stuff.

Forgetting Anti-Dump?

Thanks everyone for the response to this thread.

I truly believe that Anti-Dump deserves this cheering, not Pook. It seems that he is left in the shadow of Pook just because he reposted it. Anti-Dumps machine is what the title says, Anti-Dump's creation, something as simple as it is geniual, and most importantly, his own work.

Anti-Dump is one of the most underrated Don Juans I know off, his stuff is misunderstood by many and thus it never have seen the full glory of the knowledge his posts contain. I suggest you do a search and look at his old stuff. Then you'll realize the greatness of his tips and give him the credit he so rightfully deserve.

I too was here at the beginning at the old days when the posts where other than "I met this HB 8 and she looked at my knee, what does this mean everyone?". At that time there were discussions that lifted the common knowledge of this board. Everything was new, every discovery was a thrill. Nowadays every bit of knowledge is reposted and reposted. This site is turning into a mockery of what it used to be. Clueless, forgive my language, idiots destroy it with their stupid questions.

The sense of discovery has been replaced by a path of all-knowing. Everyone must know everything before they do anything. People discuss things even without trying it out in the field. The knowledge is used to become more enlighted in a philosophic way, to wage wars on message boards and boost about the knowledge they possess. Wisdom has been replaced with knowledge.

This is sad, the knowledge discovered by our oldest members wasn't meant to be used as swords and shields in a internet war on who is the smartest "DJ". It was meant for the growth of your soul. The change of a life. I do not know who you are, if this describtion above fit you then think, think about what you are doing. You can play with your wooden swords all day and boost about your prowess but you will never be a warrior until you have seen the battlefield, actually feeling the blood pump in your body, taste the sweat of fear on your forehead, felt the horror within your heart. The everyday will seem so much calmer than before, every trouble will be dealt with peace of mind, without thinking about techniques.

Then you get the respect for yourself, and for the things you learn. Everything you have learnt here will disappear into your mind, it will be you and you will never more have to think about it. You can never comprehend what you are reading until you enlighten yourself in the field. It is there that the wisdom will be found. Remember that techniques is a by-product of the search for wisdom and happiness. This is why you get the techniques you need if you improve your life and doesn't need to learn them from others.

Even soo, at some point you'll start to think beyond this message board. On your life, since women isn't your primal force of life any longer. Life is the focus of your life. Life is what we seek with our existance. This is Don Juan, the state of mind pook talked about. Anti dump showed us one way to help you reach that. He showed us how to find someone you could love, and be loved for who you are by hightening the standards on your own and for the person you meet. I follow his way since I believe it is one of the things I seek and I accept it as my truth.

I suggest we all raise our cups in honour of Anti-Dump!

If I had read this when I first came to sosuave, I think I either would have closed the browser and never came back or started dating the girl who was very interested in me.

It would have saved me years of trouble, although... I don't have regrets for doing the things I've done either.
