This notion is completely ridiculous, it wouldn't change a thing. Men (and women) who are going to play away will do so either for free with someone they meet or with a prostitute, legalising prostitution won't make more men more likely to cheat on their wives (or more women cheat on their husbands). Look at Holland, it's known for it's tourism for prostitution but not a reputation comparable to what the op mentioned, comparable with the forces.
What has seemed to develop within many marriages in the armed forces is because it's much more socially acceptable for guys to see prostitutes and cheat. I know people in the forces and they all say the same, there are fewer couples that remain faithful.

Legalizing prositution really wouldn't change anything. There was time when the church made prositution legal then they made illegal most likely because a ***** wouldn't marry him. Anyway what you fail to realize that reason sex can even have a price because men treat it like commodity. Sex sales for a reason. Exactly. And whether you agree with prostitution or not.....it should serve as a useful reminder that any non-pro woman who believes men should "work for it" is no better than the prostitute she bashes. Meeting and banging a woman should be an effortless and natural process......Know that women are sexual creatures and don't need coaxing and coddling if the right man turns her on. Any kind of stonewalling, games, or manipulations means she will wh*re herself out to the highest bidder in terms of which man can give her the most gifts, favors, attention, social status, etc.
