Ok...so the point is balding alone will not stop you from having sex dummy. Why does everything turn into a pity party about looks with you? Go get a PHd or something, get some status if the looks aren't there. Or get laser hair treatment! You are getting Body Dysmorphic Disorder over this ish.
I haven't said balding alone will stop you from having sex. What I'm saying is it can drastically lower your success ratio and youthfulness and attractiveness of the females you can get. And if you have near average facial aesthetics, then yes it can alone prevent you from attracting females.
Early you said hair was important. You talk a lot of smack. Espi can talk because he actually has balding and is past his 30's. I'll put aside the question of how hard he has to work pursuing women and how youthful and attractive they are.
The only thing you have experience with is being near average height. Of course you realize
that is a drawback. Just get PhD and some status huh lol? Yeah that's real easy. Being a 40-something year old with PhD isn't going to do anything.

Thanks for the compliment SL.
Here are a few other things about me:
--I make 40k a year salary in a sales job and live in a spartan 1BR apt. in a semi-ghetto like neighborhood.
--I have very little money saved up.
--I drive a 2006 Jeep Wrangler.
--The hair on my head is actually mostly gray.
--I'm receding, big time.
--My facial hair is dark brown but I don't grow beards.
But none of those factors has ever kept me from attracting the type of women I like. I regularly take high-income-earning, powerful women back to my ghetto place--women with looks, status, power...I've had all kinds in my cheap apartment bed--a doctor being my most impressive score. She lives in a big house on the water here in Tampa Bay, but she seemed 100% happy spending time at my grungy place.
See, I never believed that having
some money or
some level of status makes much of a difference in sexually attracting women short term. Sure, it might help get you a LTR/marriage with some female playing the provider role. You know when I was most attractive to women? When I was in my mid-20's a broke college student driving a 10 year old beat up car.
None of us is perfect, but we can ALL use our strengths to maximize our attractiveness. I hit the gym regularly and work extremely hard at chasing down women--I've endured lots of rejections, flakings, etc. over the years, but I never quit--attracting gorgeous women is my passion, and I've got the work ethic to engage in that passion.
You work hard and probably a lot harder than if you had a full head of hair. But I won't dispute you get good enough results with youthful, attractive enough women. What I believe is you have to have a certain level of facial aesthetics especially as a guy who has hair loss. I believe facial aesthetics are one of the most important factors in attracting women.
There's nothing you can do about hair thinning. Some women will indeed be turned off by it. But you can't be all things to all people--so why not just focus on being yourself? Do what makes YOU happy--be happy with what you have and who you are--and you'll have plenty of plates to spin.
Either shave your head or be proud of it. Or, if you have the dough, get a hair transplant. Or go the cheaper route and buy rogaine.
Whatever you do, make the most of what you have, or don't have.
I have been using rogaine. A few years ago it was keeping my thinning hair from being noticeable. I stopped using it and my hair quickly thinned. I was perfectly happy with how it looked, but women evidentally weren't. That's when I realized my ability to attract women dropped way off. I start using it again but my hair is not getting as thick as it was before.
There's problems with using minoxidil. It's just a pain applying it every day or twice a day. It irritates the scalp, dries out your hair and makes it look thinner when it's in. If you are dying your hair it tends to strip out the dye. It can have cardiac effects on some people. I suspect it does to me. There's claims it ages the skin on your face. I'm not sure but the past few years I've noticed my face looking more aged. I am getting older but till recently I've always had youthful looking skin.
If you get a hair transplant, they want you to be on propecia/finasteride along with rogaine/minoxidil. Finasteride along with minoxidil would most likely bring my hair to near normal, but I'm not taking the risk with finasteride.
My point is there really no good or easy way to prevent hair loss. And it can negatively affect your attractiveness to females especially if you don't have above average facial aesthetics. I'm begining wonder if buzzed/shaved hair and filtering for the subset of females that like that look is about the only way. I just think you need a level of facial aesthetics and women do not generally like a normal hair cut with evidence of thinning.
