Not to downplay the plight of the poor girls - it is disgusting what these extremist idiots are doing.

In September 2013 and again in February of this year, Boko Haram attacked the dormitories of several schools in Nigeria that offended them and savagely slaughtered students who had been sleeping there. In total in these attacks about 100 kids were shot, hacked to death or burned alive.
All the victims were boys. The girls in the dormitories were told by Boko Haram to run away

Those appalling events were, apparently, of little interest to the western media and political establishment which completely ignored them. No speech from the President denouncing this “heartbreaking, outrageous situation” (his words about the kidnapping of the girls). No address to the nation from a stricken First Lady. Not a peep.

Actually, the American media was pretty late when it came to covering this issue. MSNBC got on it earlier than the other major channels though, but was still late to the party. Everyone was too busy with the Malaysian airplane and South Korean ferry.

Anyways, I absolutely believe this would be in the news if it were little school boys who were kidnapped, expected not to get an education and to be sold into marriage and/or servitude.

But like zekko said, when you consider how females are weaker than males, that plays into the attention of these stories. Boys can at least grow into men. Women will still be weak compared to their captures. Males have a better chance of fighting back at least one day.

The whole situation sucks though. Most of those girls I feel will never be found by their families.

Only difference is just 5 decades ago there was a trade off or perks to this which kind of softened the blow. Man was King of his castle without the threat of the state and the emotional whims of an unhaaaapy wife hanging over his head, not a "man cave" in sight, a smiling, nurturing wife and his genetic continuation were waiting for his arrival, the lefties had not yet destroyed his work environment or any and all male spaces etc etc. All that's gone but he's still expected to hold his part of the bargain. Obviously some of us more "misogynist" types demand and took back the bonuses we once had but you get my point. For the sea of expendable taxpaying betas left over they seem to be sh!t out of luck.

I think you nailed it. All over eastern Africa young men are taken prisoner and forced to fight for POS rebel Armies. We don't send UAV's and manned reconnaissance aircraft in to find them.
This is a PR bonanza for an administration that's looking for anyway to get the masses to fall for a , "Look over here"! tactic. Low and behold America the stupid is falling right into their hands. Ohhh, how horrible, we have to save these girls... the public decries. All the while we are adding women to combat arms, making sure everyone gets a gold star, common core....yep Rome is definitely burning.
I agree the tinder is piling up. The only thing that concerns me is what other false flag will they use to sway the populous? Dangerous times ahead indeed.
