"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

This is kind of a long story but i'll try and make it as short as possible. Theres this chick that I had a huge crush on in high school. Back then i was on a serious AFC tip so I never said anything. I recently met up with her(6 years later) and as we reminisced it turned out that she had a crush on me too back in HS. We had a great convo and I week later, I went to her apartment after work. Now one thing I have to mention is that she does have a boyfriend. Anyway, I went to her apartment and we had another great convo, i was applying that steady mack. We even made plans to hang out on her spring break. When I was leaving, she walked me to the door, out to the porch, and then out to my car. I knew that that meant she wanted to kiss me goodbye. At the car we had that akward kiss moment and she put her hand over her mouth, kinda teasing me. Then i kissed my fingers, put them on her cheek, and said next time and then proceeded to leave. The messed up part is that its been 3 weeks and I haven't talked to her since. I left her 2 messages :( and she never returned them. I was really feeling this girl and I have to admit that this is bothering me. That said, should I call her back in case there may be a legitamte reason that she didn't call back or should I just leave it alone and just accept this one as a loss.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Leave it alone bro...I'd 'soft' next her...

She may very well be highly interested in you...but...she may also feel genuinely guilty about going out with you because she has a bf. I'd let it go for now. Don't give her any more emails...If she really wanted to be with you..she would have replied to your emails already. Don't make excuses for her reasons not emailing you. She didn't...and if you keep emailing her..you'll come off as a needy simp.

It looks like she just wanted the attention. She has a bf (which is her safety net)...yet, she has guys like you around to keep her feeling desired.

Pull away...I'm sure as soon as her bf f*cks up or she feels not so sexxy..she'll give you a call. Classic attention wh*re. If you want to just have sex with her..its pretty easy to take her away from her bf...there are tons of threads on that subject..just do a simple search...personally, thats not my style...but hey..who's here to discuss morals? not me..

Leave her alone for now...soft next her and dont be clingy or sappy. Stop making excuses for her low interest level and go out and find some other quality women. She'll come around again when you least expect it..they always do.

She wanted it and you didn't escalate...sorry dude, I know this sucks, but you probably lost your chance. This has happened to me so many times...never again!
