She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I don't know, seems creepy to follow up an unanswered text with a call. And it's a fact of life that girls simply don't pick up calls from random numbers.Malice said:Why don't you try calling her like a man and stop texting like a woman?
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

1) The Last few months I have been turning it on when approaching women. (had a break up in July...took a bit to get over). I have gotten quite a few numbers but just like cheeks it didn't lead anywhere. But I haven't changed it up at all because I KNOW I am doing something right....just not good enough to close it.
2) The last chick actually responded and we had on an awesome first date. Seriously this chick is my perfect type. Our meet up for drinks lasted 4 hrs. I think I had the 2nd date lined up an hour in.
Second date comes and it's pretty quick....few days later. She is really excited about and I am also since this chick really seems like she had potential. We hit up a comedy club and things go well...or so I thought. At the end of the night we kiss and talk about the next time we will go out. She seemed very receptive, she was heading out of town for a week so I said I will call her when she got back.
My dumb$hit self sent a TXT a few days later before she left to say have a good time. Never got a response from that.....so I knew I might have F'ed up by being a panzy.
5-6 days later and a few days after she got back from her trip I called her up. (She made it a point in the first few dates she prefers calls, and I hate the damn phone so that is a big step for me) Straight to voicemail. So it's Game over...and I won't send anything else. It's just so god damn frustrating that me and this chick had such an awesome time, well I thought we did and she doesn't even have the balls to say she is not interested. I mean flaking before the first date...ya np, flaking before second date...sure it happens, flaking before the third date without a peep? FRUSTRATING!
Before anyone said one-itis...the issue is that finding good women is getting tougher and tougher and when a chick that really hits it on all cylinders (Looks, Very Cool, Interests, Chemistry, never married) you get a little caught up.
So long story short...Cheeks...take Die Hards advice...and we just eat the ****ty feelings we get and move on.
One more side note. I know this should not matter but chicks always seem to reel off a bit when I say I don't own a car. Hell I make plenty of money and live in the heart of the city. Why the hell would I want a car if I were to use it 2-3 times a month? It just seems chicks think no car = loser. What do you guys think about this?
