"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I was friends with a women for 1 yr 8 months.....after flirting and talking forever...we are now going on our 4th week of our AMAZING RELATIONSHIP.

she knows how I feel about her and vice versa..we talk bout this stuff..we talk about everything.

I dont want to come off as needy and I dont not yet.

can u be her friend, lover, and all that..and still be a DJ? is this just about respect and love.

she told me she this great respect for me?

does that seal my DJ status...even with seeing her 3 or 4 days a week...and 30 min to 2 hour phone calls?

advice....only serious advice please!

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Nothing is gained without risk.. You are going to have to accept the fact that you may have your heart broken..

Freeman-

I believe you are right.

the fact is I suppose she is taking the same risk. :)

but being a anylitical guy I know how damaging the risk wil be.

oh well...I strap up my boots and if I do fall.I will be back on my horse..hopefully this one I dont fall :)

Interesting...

What indeed is a DJ?

Is there a definition? No seriously is there!?

If the answer is YES... i have never seen such a definition... it is most likely never going to suit everyone's persona

The answer is most likely NO! There is no definition of what a DJ is and that being said it is up to you Friv to make up your own definition.

IF being a DJ to you is what you posted, then so be it, you are a DJ. However if you believe it is not... then you are not a DJ and you are lying to yourself.

But in the end, DJ is just a title... you make up the myth yourself and live it.

Godspeed

P.S buddy, avoid the analysing

does that seal my DJ status...

Will it make you feel better if people say it does?

with 1000 posts, you should know that you define who you are.

The question should be, have you given in to this woman? have you lost your independence? are you no longer a man? a you no longer being the DJ?

Only you can answer these questions.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

If there is a definition (and lets face it, the term has been abused beyond recognition), I think it lies in being as good a 'you' as you can be. All the rest is supposed to follow.

Even if it's not that, that's what I'm after.
