"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Ok it started last year with this girl I broke up with my gf at the time I wasn't happy and I met this girl through a buddy and she seemed to really like me and stuff and she was flirting etc.. and then she said was kinda seeing someone I didn't think anything of it. Then like when we would hangout she would act weird, make weird faces were lying blowing me off etc.. things like that and like it got to my head for some reason and I was asking her why she did this stuff she was like making excuses and lying and I was just being nice and stuff and she was just acting weird I didn't understand put pictures on instagram and stuff and then I just kinda flipped because the games kinda got to me would keep being weird like I call her she would hang up and I would call back she would ignore me then I said wanted to take you out and stuff and said don't you want to be with me shes like im not in a place to say that right now I broke up with bf (she really didn't was hanging out with them n stuff) and I got really pissed off and went off on her like what do you want why you doing this ****. It kinda is what brought me to here but and going out with wingmen trying to figure out this women deal and I tried talking to her again she said she didn't want to be with me and I got real upset at her and the guy I was buddies with said played games and went off on them called them names n **** and guy was lying to me saying oh she was just being real nice to you and I talked **** on him and went off on him and he wanted me to fight him called me coward and stuff. Now I am trying to talk to different women I add women on face book and message them and my friends all find out about Lauren Reuben sitation and they said that I need help and stuff and saying I need to not harass women or go off on them like that call them names. And when I am trying to msg new women they block me and my friend wants to have serious talk with me girl was on FB put who the hell is Master Paul this creep is a blockin. "I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Two words: Next her
Then like when we would hangout she would act weird, make weird faces were lying blowing me off etc.. things like that and like it got to my head for some reason and I was asking her why she did this stuff she was like making excuses and lying and I was just being nice and stuff and she was just acting weird I didn't understand put pictures on instagram and stuff and then I just kinda flipped because the games kinda got to me would keep being weird like

I call her she would hang up and I would call back she would ignore me then I said wanted to take you out and stuff and said don't you want to be with me shes like im not in a place to say that right now I broke up with bf (she really didn't was hanging out with them n stuff)

for your own good, stop dealing with this girl...leave her alone.

When you said to her "don't you want to be with me?"

That's foul dude, never ask question like that because you'll come up as needy and begging her to be with you...which sucks for a man like us

and I got really pissed off and went off on her like what do you want why you doing this ****.

Don't ask her why, just WALK AWAY and save your dignity as a man

It kinda is what brought me to here but and going out with wingmen trying to figure out this women deal and I tried talking to her again she said she didn't want to be with me

Dude, walk away from her...walk..walk..WALK..AWAYYYYY

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I call her, and she would hang up

and I would call back she would ignore me

then I said I wanted to take you out...don't you want to be with me?

After someone hangs up on you, just go ahead and assume that they don't want to talk to you. Pressing the point only makes it painful for everyone involved: you, her, and every guy who reads that part I just quoted above and has been there himself.
