My current whey protein is almost gone....There are lots of different kinds of whey, can you guys recommend one? what are some that taste better?

Ps.im 5'9 164lbs and currently doing the Bulking up plan. Can you guys also recommend a good multi vitamin?

go with AST products. their protein taste great. its called VP2 whey isolate. also buy a good meal replacement too. try the Ny-tro pr0 40. that will help u keep you caloric intake up because u need more than just protien. any multivitamin will suffice for now.

met-rx is a scam. and thats way too much protien for a serving.your body wont digest all that in one sitting. keep it between 20-30.

It's a myth that your body can't use X amount of protein in one sitting. It can, and it will. It will use every bit of the protein for something. 60g or so MAY be over the limit of usage at one time, but then again, it may not. A large person's body will use more than a smaller person's body. Either way, you're going to be doing something with the protein, even if it's not rebuilding muscle.

And if you're going with just whey, stick with the basics. I'd say Optimum, but some people like other stuff. Check out www.proteincustomizer.com if you're interested in making and ordering your own blends (or their premades). Pretty cheap, they're good guys, and from what I hear, the taste is surprisingly good.

Protein

Don't take more than 40-50 grams of protein in one sitting, and most doctors I've talked to don't recommend more than 30-40. You can add more protein every 4-5 hours.

You can overdo the amount of protein you take in a day or a sitting. Once you hit a certain amount your body cannot digest it. Your right K Daddy, your body does use all the protein it recieves BUT if you feed it too much it will turn into something you don't want such as gases or stored as fat. Not to mention it is really hard on your liver if you do this for a couple months of bulking.
