Master Don Juan
^ I wouldn't say it's funny. More of a paradox
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Biggest load of rubbish I've ever read. "Love them no matter what they do"???? Are you kidding me? You sound like the man who will be buying his wife flowers, teddies, chocolate and cars to apologize for confronting her cheating behavior when you caught her sleeping with another man in your own bed. You sound like a closet white knight.ChrisFloyd said:And you guys should too.![]()
I never get why some of you can be so much against the females.
I try to hold that point of view some time, but the girls keep pulling me out and make me love them even more.
Love them, that's all I can say, no matter what they do.
Just one small tip, love yourself first.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Bravo. This thread is basically saying to whiteknight women even in the poorest behavior. Just write it off as female prerogative to be b!tches. Is it any wonder women's behavior seems to be getting worse and more entitled? Men are basically socializing women to treat men like utter crap and females expect to be held to no standards. Today women actually believe that men should have no standards of female behavior while females should have unreasonable, shifting and unattainable standards for men.Espi said:I personally don't understand any man who doesn't encourage other men to hold some reservation or contempt for women.
Love them no matter what they do? Really?
Funny how I rarely hear women being encouraged to love men, no matter what they do. I was watching a reality TV program last week and the woman was contemplating divorce because her husband wasn't fully supporting her decision to lose weight. Imagine if it were the man contemplating divorce in that very same situation. Do you think a man could get away with that kind of behavior?

I love women.
I love women more than you.
No I love women more than you.
No you don't, I do.
I love women more than you times infinity.
I wonder if the sluts over at muff post or jizzabell do sh!t like this?
OP you don't REALLY love women until they take a dump on your face. Everyone knows that.

Well Konduit, be glad approaching and talking to women, flirting with them, initiating/escalating with them is natural common sense for you, be glad you are able to get women since you have an ex-girlfriend or 2Konduit said:Man, I need some inspiration...coming out of a breakup, and having read a ton of dating advice/redpill theory, I'm feeling kind of disillusioned...I can't think of women in the same way again.
I still desire them, and want to find someone else, but the desire is not as strong or as pure as it was before...anyone else experience something similar?
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Heh, I wish that were true man; everything I learned about women was through making mistakes and learning from them after the fact, not the most 'natural' game sense >_>.JaegerPilot217 said:Well Konduit, be glad approaching and talking to women, flirting with them, initiating/escalating with them is natural common sense for you, be glad you are able to get women since you have an ex-girlfriend or 2
When did you start making these mistakes and going through trial and error? High school?Konduit said:Heh, I wish that were true man; everything I learned about women was through making mistakes and learning from them after the fact, not the most 'natural' game sense >_>.
But as they say, experience can be the best teacher
Don't worry, everything will be fine.Konduit said:Man, I need some inspiration...coming out of a breakup, and having read a ton of dating advice/redpill theory, I'm feeling kind of disillusioned...I can't think of women in the same way again.

Sorry you are having such a bad day.Zarky said:Pretty funny and bizarre thread, actually. Only on the internet.![]()
All the sosuave incel misogynists pop up to let us read between the lines that they haven't tapped actual human p*ssy in at least a decade. We know, guys, we know. You don't have to shout it quite that loudly.
I already wrote about this years ago:
http://matingmarket.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/dont-take-advice-from-bitter-men/
However, I'll inject some logic into this emotional circle-jerk of a thread:
Anybody who "loves" or "hates" or feels anything toward women, men, blacks, jews, christians, Koreans, or whatever... is a deluded nutbag. It's normal to have feelings toward individuals, not entire groups of people. To have feelings toward entire groups of people is psychotic. It truly is. If you have feelings about an entire gender, race, religion, nationality, or anything like that you should turn off your computer and make an appointment with a licensed psychologist immediately because you're a nutcase.
Some women are worthy of your affection, some aren't. Same with any other group of humans. Some are ok, some are sh*t. That's logic. Anything else is insane ranting.
I will say that it never fails to amuse me that there are a ton of absolutely bonkers incels here who spend untold hundreds of hours typing up stuff about a gender they hate and fear. It's like going to a Corvette forum and half the posters hate Corvettes and rage against them in every post. To spend that much time discussing a topic you hate is a sign of major mental disorder.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
