Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

I hate complaining but I have to not really complaing though but releasing. I'm nothing I'm lonely I guess. I cover my feelings up so much I don't really know. I have no one to really talk to noone to listen, yet I listen to everybody who talks . I don't understand, people seem to like me and think I'm a good guy but no one is welling to listen to me. My best "friend" dipped on me and my other friend is hard to find.

I know you guys don't like to hear this type of news but this is how I feel right now. I not only need someone that will listen and hear but someone that is true. I'm very proactive though and will keep trying to improve my life by becoming more involved in things instead just feeling the way I feel.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I always wanted to compete in boxing. I'm going to do that and make music. I like rap and want to make good beats that people move to. I figure if I get famous or social proof enough for that I'll be listen to more. I was also thinking about setting up a phone line in case someone just needs to talk.

But I just wanted to add I think it's the women around me that affect me too. They are not trustworthy they lie and cheat. It's just not right. I need positiity in my life being the only positve in a group of negatives.

Positive talk is what you missing. When you say all those things to yourself, thats all negative.

Hmmmm, I wake up every morning at 5 am, dress, do my hair, and run. Then I drink two mugs of coffee, and by the time Im ready to eat Im feeling extermely positive, as I have achieved my first goal during the days start.

That's a good plan instead of just getting up and doing stuff. I'm going to start planning things like that. I'll try to keep a little journel

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I think it's good to get rid of unnecessary annoyances in life. If the people you hang around are bringing you down, ditch them and look for other people to spend your time with.

I was doing a sport for a while at my school (not varsity, just a club sport). The people that play it are really clique-ish, tho, and I never did completely fit in with some of them. Then last week the captain wouldn't let me go with the team to a tournament over the weekend. I'm not the best one on the team or anything, but I definitely could have contributed and he was just being an ass. So I finally just said f*ck this and I quit. It had been a pretty fun activity, but I was spending way too much time doing it to be treated like sh*t by that crowd...

Don't put up with as much crap this year -- That was my new year's resolution.

Basically the fact that you listen to your friends problems and **** all the time basically says your a nice guy. If my friends are in a huge crisis I'll let them talk to me about it and say **** the dj thing for a bit. But to be completely honest man. Heres the deal when you talk about your problems or your insecurities you give them power. To kill these insecurities ignore them and prove them wrong. Its a hard road, but the more you dwell on them the stronger they will become.
