"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

This is absolutely true, that's why he constantly c0ck blocks himself.

Someone in touch with themselves with at least be honest to admit that it was their own personal high standards that was really getting in their way - not the "never ending sea of bottom of the barrel low quality women in looks or status". They would be able to say to themselves "I do have high standards, and, therefore, I AM getting in my own way, but I'm okay with that, I'll own it"

Not this never ending whiny crying baby $hit that he constantly posts about how the world is unfair and he is a complete victim

So I did go out last night of course. I sorta talked to 2 or 3 girls and all of them were very receptive to me. Another was staring me down. They were decent looking but not close enough to dating quality (1 was very short, 1 was very tall, not really in shape, too pale, etc...). There was this gorgeous Italian or Greek brunette but I didn't have the courage to start anything. Good ****ing lord was she amazing

I'm realizing that I very very rarely have women who are negative or non receptive to me when I initiate a conversation. I don't understand why I have such an intense fear of talking to women I don't know. I feel like they're going to laugh at me and reject me in the most awful way imaginable, but that basically never happens.

I just gotta convince myself that women are not so difficult

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

I always admit I have very specific standards

I'm basically interested in someone around 5'2 to 5'9, Italian/Greek/Spanish/Mexican/Light Skinned Black/Middle Eastern, cute face, nice body with a fat ass, good personality (somebody as affectionate, loyal, nice as I am), decent job/decent with finances, no kids. I always admit I'm very selective

Your problem is your selectivity. Why keep complaining? Go away.
but those girls exist though. There was this beautiful Italian girl last night who probably fit everything

I didn't have the courage to initiate anything :(

I have this intense anxiety of initiating conversation with women even though I can't remember any point in my life ever getting a negative or nasty response. They're almost always very receptive/positive/friendly when I start talking to them

Why do you disregard smaller victories on your path to bigger ones? Those other chicks were responding positively to you. Great. Maybe not your exact type, but it's a start towards the ones you really want.

At work, weren't you happy and ENCOURAGED when you sold your first car? Or did you hate yourself until you sold say X cars a month (that you do now)?

Blah blah blah. Yea, you admit you have specific standards and them get on here and whiiiiiiinnnnnneeeee about not being able to find a woman. YOU are the reason you can't find anyone. Stop blaming everything and everyone else.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I've had lots and lots of women who were not my type who liked me in my life. At this point, it doesn't do anything for me

my intense anxiety with women is the #1 problem. Anxiety in terms of approaching strangers. I'm very smooth around women once I get started/get comfortable

Well we all told him the first thing he needs to do is get his dyck wet. Also calling women "trash" cant be a good attitude. Attitude adjustment and see thw good in people who are good.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

250K in New York is 60K where I live dude. I have a beautiful 2500 square foot house here that cost me under 300K. In NY, it would cost 1.5 million

190-200K is only impressive income in a cheap area. If you live in Manhattan, San Fran, etc... you need like 500K for an impressive income
Dave, you live on Cloud 9. When you get back to Earth, come back to SS to post. I mean, your numbers are laughable at best.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
