"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Last night was fun but not great. I went to a dinner party with my parents it was some kind of a going a way thing for one of my family members any ways a lot of his friends where there and they brought their dates and this one girl was stareing at me so I looked over and gave a friendly smile and said hello. well she was looking at some thing else I guess because she didnt say Sh1t back.

Then I went to the mall and made some casual eye contacts, I met up with some friends later we whent to a restaurant. Apperently they have been competing over this one girl there. wow did they get upset at me lol. I made eye contact and spoke very well and I was polite while my friends where being total jerk offs. She was being really nice to me (I know its her job) it was funny though she called me honey and all that, I was playing it up to just to get at my friends LOL. She really wasnt my type and at that she was about a 5.

How do you think I did? you know for starters.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

So to summarise;

You didn't approach anyone, didn't get any numbers and a 5 refered to you as "honey".

How do YOU think you did?

When you put it that way it sounds bad. Dude I live in the south west there isnt much around here, if you get lucky there might, just might be a slim mexican chick.

Besides I am in a hard time, Im 18 and most of the clubs are 21 and over , most of the women hang out at the clubs.

For me it was a revolution, before I would hardly ever make eye contact and I would walk with my head down.

Making excuses is a sign of a lack of confidence.

Let's say you have a pair of pants and your friend tells you they're ugly, instead of saying "**** off n lick my balls cause I like them", you're saying "oh I went shopping at the last minute and I really needed something so I bought those as a last resort but I wear them cause I don't have a choice"

Don't make that kind of excuse. If to you, you feel better after having more social interaction, then good. Who are we to judge you? You should have told Mav something along those lines instead of making racial excuses about the south west.

Think about it...

Fvck this, I am starting from nothing, I am 18 I have never had a gf, at that I have never apporched a woman so give me a break.

point noted about the pants

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Fair do's, it is tough and at least you've had the sense to realise your game needs work. People on here (me especially!) can at times be quite harsh on some posts because some people have a tendency to post utterly retarded AFC stuff (this isn't refering to you btw) which makes me wonder if they've even bothered to read some of the great articles which are a few clicks away from their finger tips.

Anyhow, I'd recommend you start reading the DJ bible and think about the bootcamp stuff which looks quite good. Get out there, and start approaching women. Don't be picky, 5's, 6's, young, old - just get used to approaching and starting a conversation. Come back this time next week and post about the 2-3 women you approached (even if you crashed and burned with all of them!), do that and you really will have made progress and be heading the right way.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not criticizing the fact that you had some social encouter, on the contrary I'm happy for you since you feel you have learned something and chipped off some ice.

I'm just saying you need to build the confidence that I noticed you were lacking, that's the impression I got from your post. :p Now I don't know you personally and I might be wrong, but there's always a way to find some women, it's impossible to live in a town where the hot girls go out once a week to go clubbing and never go to school, take the bus, go to the supermarket, to the mall, etc.

Sorry if my words don't seem encouraging, because discouraging you is my last intention.

Now read the bible, go out, approach, and confidence will come when you start realizing things by yourself. Good luck! :D

Thank you, I would like to say I was being more defensive then I needed to be. yeah I started to read the DJ Bible I downloaded the off line one and I am on 114 I just downloaded the DJ boot camp. tomorrow I will apporch some women because thats when I go to pick up my books for next semester and the campuse should be crawling with college hotties.

Oh and what I said about there not being much in my town thats during the school break time (I live in a college town) so most every one goes back home during the break.
