I Had a Dream That I Died?

Yeah, I was sitting in the doctor's office today and I had a short nap while waiting for them to call me. I had a dream that I remember vaguely the details, but the concept is crystal clear.

I was in my car - or a car - driving. The car was stationary, and somebody was in the passenger seat. I can't remember who. And then this car or truck comes at me and I'm just in a state of shock. I can't do anything, and the car hits my side of the vehicle, full force.

I felt something suddenly, and then everything just went white. This was all in the dream. And then I saw myself being crushed inside the car, like moments before it happened, as if I was also seeing it happen in slow motion outside of the car. I definitely saw my own face in the car.

It was freaking weird, and I sort of can't stop thinking about it. I've been under some stress lately, but I was wondering if this kind of dream has any meaning?

I've had dreams before of people chasing and trying to kill me. I'm sure everyone has had dreams like that. It usually has to do with being under stress and trying to meet some deadline. I've also had dreams of drowning or not being able to breathe, etc. But I've never ever had a dream where I died and saw myself while it happened. Just wondering, because I'm going on a 6hr drive next week, and I want to be safe.

Any advice?

Back in my AFC days, I had a dream about crossing some european border, paying to guards, etc. At one check point they said more money needed. I didn't have, and they start shooting. It was very vivid. That was pretty close to taking on ss seriously and starting my recovery.

To be honest, don't even worry about the dreams of death. If anything, you shouldn't take dreams too seriously, they might tell you something, but chances are the contents of the dream aren't literal, but metaphorical or meaningless...

Most people who die end up going to hell and dont know it because they dont know that they have to receive Jesus in their heart and repent of their sins in order to make it or they dont know how to do it, and usually have incorrection notions that God is going to weight their good deeds vs bad deeds when that is nowhere in scripture. To be sure you are saved and will make it in heaven requires faith - seek out God while He may be found - maybe this is a wake-up call for you to get right with God.

This is an interesting site, but at the end of the day, if you dont get this part of your life handled, then you could fall through the cracks. So get right with God.
