I got the skills, I don't get practice material :(

I started with self improvement (including women) about a year ago in my senior high school grade, unfortunatly I was already known by a lot of people, and I could get rid of my nerdy stereotype.
However I would meet tons of chicks froms friends, I surely atrracted a lot of girls, but at the time I had a gf so it was just for fun.
Im now at college (I made a post before lol), Im studying electrical engineering, and there are like 30 women in the WHOLE college, only 2 of them hot, and taken.
I dont want to return to my old friends, because they are very afc, and to be honest I get kinda deppresed with them.
The kids at my college are even more afc, and while Im befriending them, they dont go out, they dont drink....
So im now here kinda alone, no friends, sitting infront on my pc on saturday, I dont want to pass my college days like this
how do you guys recommend getting new friends?, its not like I could cold approch guys :crackup:
The worst thing it's that I begin to feel that long forgotten feeling of desperation....
(I do go out alone but it gets boring very fast)

sometimes when people ask questions, they already have an idea of what the answer is, they just don't wanna believe it is the actual answer because it seems too outside of their comfort zone.

You seem confused. Your personality needs to be revamped and you need to approach girls outside college, without any motive of getting laid or having a gf. That kind of commitment without motive, offers a long term gain. That's what self improvement is all about.

Stop ranting. All of us have problems. We can write books on our problems.. each person on sosuave has some. So stop ranting and work hard to get your dreams fulfilled.

Well dude, this is a tough one. Join a cult? Where you live could be a problem too, as in some places, people are unfriendly/unresponsive so trying to open them up is a no-go.
