man now that ive learned a ton from this board, i realized that i got picked up by a female DJ!!, man that sucks!!
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Nevermind, I read your other post. Dude just use your common sense - is she really being a control freak that wants to keep you on a short leash? Or are you going overboard with the rules? Don't compromise your self respect or control of yourself. If she is being unreasonable and is just trying to keep the dog collar on you, then get out.

Well, I was asking why because think about it... a DJ is supposed to be one of the best people to hook up with. The only problem here that I could think of would be control... if she wants to control you and/or the relationship then that would be a problem.

julius ceasar and marcus antonius got the same problem with cleopatra, they lost their imperium because of a alphafemale

I dunno guys, tbh I like it when a girl has an opinion, and I love it when she can be decisive, that's one of the things I didn't like about my last gf, she just couldn't decide on *anything*. I don't wanna be with a blow-up doll FFS :)

Just thinking about this, I think a lot of these questions (including the Nice Guy thread which I can't be bothered looking for the url of) , I think a lot of these questions can be resolved by one thing: balance.

You need to balance all these things out. It *is* nice when your gf takes control once in a while. Doesn't make you any less male. So long as it's not *every* time. And as for being a Nice Guy? Well, lets just say your gf's father passes away. What are you gonna do, be an ass? Damn right you're not.

And remember that a lot of posters here are good DJs but haven't been in too many LTRs, and may be relatively young (me included in both of those btw). I'm not raggin on anyone but it's good to balance shit out. So take all these things with a grain of salt.

George don't assume that I don't have a spine simply because I questioned your reasoning. I understand your point, but MY point is that a female DJ wouldn't necessarily have to wear the pants in the relationship. Don't project your weaknesses onto me.
